Customer journeys

The whole path of every order, from first visit to sale.

A report that says Google brought 41 orders tells you how many. Open any one of them and you see how it happened: the first visit, the newsletter, the ad they clicked and how long they thought about it.

Why one click is not the story

Most of the decision happens before the last click.

1 in 4

journeys cross two or more channels before the purchase.

30%

of orders after an ad click come a day or more later; one in ten after a week.

1 in 9

orders that look "direct" had another visible channel earlier. Most direct sales really are direct.

01

First touch, with its ad click

The visit that started it all, with the campaign, search term or partner that brought it, even if the purchase came days later on another device.

02

Every visit, and what they read

Each session in order, with the pages read in it. You see which product pages, guides or price pages people read before deciding.

The waiting time between

Minutes, days or weeks between each step. Long gaps show which products need patience and which channel brings people back.

04

Enquiries too, for service businesses

The same path ends in an enquiry instead of an order, and when the enquiry becomes a deal by email, phone or in person, the revenue is attached to it.

Patterns, not just single stories.

Questions owners ask

Journeys, in plain words

Where does the journey data come from?

From the Enalitica script on your site and the order in your shop. Visits are tied together with a first-party identifier, under the consent rules your site already uses.

Do I see customers' names?

A journey belongs to an order you can open in your own shop. Personal details are not shown in journey patterns or sent to AI assistants.

How far back does a journey go?

Raw page views are kept for 30 days; the journey built from them stays with the order.

Does it work for service businesses?

Yes. The path ends in an enquiry, and once the enquiry becomes a deal, its revenue is attached.

Open any order and see how it happened.
