Ad Tracking Software Cost 2026: Hyros, Triple Whale, More

Ad tracking software cost is a question with two answers: the price on the pricing page, and the bill you actually pay a year later. Between the two sit billing models, annual contracts, credit systems and add-ons. This guide compares Hyros, Triple Whale, wetracked.io and Enalitica on both: the entry price, and what drives your bill upward. We verified every price on 8 August 2026 against the sources named below; vendors change prices, so numbers may differ by the time you read this. Always check the vendor's live pricing page before deciding. For the full feature-and-consent comparison behind these prices, see the best ecommerce attribution software guide.

Ad tracking software cost at a glance

Ad tracking software in 2026 costs anywhere from 0 to several thousand euros per month, and the difference hides mostly in what the vendor meters you on. The overview (prices verified 8 August 2026):

ToolEntry priceFree optionWhat grows the billAnnual lock-in
Hyros~$230/mo on annual billingtracked revenue✓, auto-renews
Triple Whale$219/mo✓ basic dashboardannual store GMV✓ at listed prices
wetracked.io$49/mo✗, 14-day trialorder volume✗, monthly available
Northbeam$1,500/mopageviewsStarter month-to-month
Cometlyno public pricingsessionsvia quote
Enalitica€0 / €49/mo✓ foreverorder volume✗, monthly available

Two notes on the table. First, a Hyros account is activated through a call (the tier pricing itself is public), and Cometly removed public pricing from its site in spring 2026. Second, the "entry price" of revenue- and GMV-metered tools only holds for small stores; the next section explains what that means in practice.

Ad tracking software cost comparison 2026: four billing axes, tracked revenue at Hyros, annual GMV at Triple Whale, pageviews at Northbeam and Cometly, and order volume at wetracked and Enalitica

Why ad tracking tools get more expensive as you grow

Ad tracking tools get more expensive with growth because most of them do not bill for the work they do, but for your size. The four billing axes on the market:

  1. Tracked revenue (Hyros). The more you sell, the higher the tier, even though the tool does exactly the same work. Reviewers call it a "success tax". The ~$230 entry covers up to $20,000 of tracked monthly revenue; tiers climb to $1,499 at $750,000.
  2. Annual store GMV (Triple Whale). Package price is tied to your yearly revenue, so the same features cost different stores different amounts.
  3. Pageviews and sessions (Northbeam, Cometly). Billing follows site traffic regardless of sales; expensive for high-traffic, low-conversion stores.
  4. Order volume (wetracked.io, Enalitica). Billing follows what the tool actually processes. Price growth is predictable: more orders, next tier, and you know the boundaries in advance.

For an owner the essential question is simple: does my bill double when my sales double, or only when the tool's work doubles?

How much does Hyros cost in 2026?

Hyros costs from $230 per month on annual billing for the tier up to $20,000 of tracked monthly revenue; the tier pricing is public on their site (up to $1,499 at $750,000), while activating an account goes through a call with their team (verified 8 August 2026 on hyros.com). Secondary sources (verified 8 August 2026) also mention a cheaper Shopify-specific track, but they disagree on the exact number, so we do not quote it as fact.

Three contract details worth reading in the Hyros terms of service before signing: the contract is annual and auto-renews for a full term unless cancelled at least 30 days before it ends; early termination means paying the remaining amounts; pricing can change at renewal. There is no free trial. Hyros remains a serious tool for large advertisers; we compared the wider field in our guide to Northbeam alternatives.

How much does Triple Whale cost in 2026?

Triple Whale costs from $219 per month for the Foundation plan and from $749 for Automate on a 12-month contract, and a free basic dashboard exists; the paid tiers are activated through a walkthrough, the pricing-page button reads "Book a walkthrough" (verified 8 August 2026 at triplewhale.com/pricing). The final price is tied to your store's annual GMV, so bigger stores pay more for the same packages.

What to watch in the math. Listed prices assume a 12-month contract; month-to-month costs more. The AI features run on monthly credits: when they run out, AI pauses until the refresh or a top-up, and credits do not roll over. Paid add-on modules come on top. The free plan is an honest starting point for a basic overview, while attribution and AI are paid. We compared the features in full in our guide to Triple Whale alternatives.

wetracked.io pricing: $49 entry, metered on orders

wetracked.io costs $49 per month up to 500 orders, $149 up to 3,000 and $249 up to 7,500 orders per month, with monthly billing available, a 14-day trial and multiple stores included (3, 5 and 10 respectively). At our check on 8 August 2026 on wetracked.io, an intro promotion of about 10 percent off the first 3 months was running. Metering on orders is the same axis Enalitica uses, and for stores it is the most predictable one.

Important for a fair comparison: wetracked.io is a server-side conversion capture tool that restores lost events and sends them back to ad platforms. It is not profit analytics and not a full attribution platform; POAS, margins, returns and customer lifetime value are outside its scope. If capture is all you need, it is an affordable pick; if you want to know whether ads make a profit, you need a different category of tool.

Northbeam and Cometly: enterprise pricing and hidden quotes

Northbeam enters at $1,500 per month, metered on pageviews, with no free trial; Cometly removed public pricing in spring 2026 and reveals it on a demo call, with the last publicly known Core pricing starting around $500 to $750 per month. For stores shopping in that bracket we wrote a full guide to Northbeam alternatives.

Hidden quotes ("call for pricing") are not automatically bad, but they are a signal: the price is negotiable and depends on how big a budget you show. Walk into the demo with a written ceiling and the questions from the checklist at the end of this guide.

How much should attribution cost per euro of ad spend?

A common rule of thumb says a tracking and attribution tool should cost at most 1 to 3 percent of your monthly ad spend. Above that line, the tool itself becomes a visible cost inside the very equation it is supposed to improve.

Three worked examples (annual-billing prices, verified 8 August 2026):

Monthly ad spend1-3% ruleExample
€5,000€50 to €150/moHyros at ~€212 exceeds it; Enalitica Starter at €41 sits under
€20,000€200 to €600/momost tools fit; hidden costs start to matter more
€50,000€500 to €1,500/moeven the Northbeam bracket enters the picture

At smaller budgets the math is unforgiving: a $230-per-month tool at €5,000 of spend means attribution eats 4 to 5 percent of the budget before improving anything. That is why a free plan or a low monthly price without lock-in matters more for smaller stores than any single feature.

First-year cost of ad tracking tools for a store with around 800 orders per month: Enalitica Growth around 1,490 euros, wetracked Business around 1,650 euros, Triple Whale Foundation around 2,430 euros and more by GMV, Hyros from 2,550 euros and more by revenue, Northbeam around 16,600 euros, annotated with what is included

How Enalitica prices order-based attribution from €0

Enalitica costs €0 forever up to 100 orders per month, and the Starter plan with full attribution and profit analytics costs €49 per month with no annual lock-in (€41 on annual billing). Billing is per order, like wetracked, with the key difference in what Starter already includes:

  • POAS per campaign: profit after cost prices, not just revenue, for every campaign separately, with a direct and a multi-touch bound. Competitors typically put profit features in higher tiers or paid add-ons.
  • Whole-business profit: net profit, MER with a break-even line from your own margins, CAC with an allowable cost per new customer, LTV cohorts (customer lifetime value), and returns counted into the numbers and reported back to Google Ads server-side.
  • None of the traps from this guide: no annual contract, no auto-renewal with penalties, no credits that pause features, no sales call to learn the price. Pricing is public, and leads are always unlimited and never billed.

We are equally honest about the limits: plans have order caps (100, 500, 1,500, 6,000 per month), our focus is EU stores, and Shopify and Shopamine connect through a private app we set up together with you, most stores within a day. See every plan on the pricing page, then check the numbers on your own data: create a free account and your last 30 days of orders import on day one.

Checklist: 8 pricing questions before you sign

  1. What exactly do you meter on: revenue, GMV, pageviews or orders?
  2. What will I pay when my sales double?
  3. Is the listed price tied to an annual contract, and what does monthly cost?
  4. What is the cancellation notice period, and does the contract auto-renew?
  5. Which parts run on credits or paid add-ons, and what do they cost?
  6. Is there an onboarding fee?
  7. Can I trial the tool on my own data without a card and a call?
  8. What is included in the entry price: attribution, profit, returns, reports?

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest ad tracking software?

Among the tools compared, Enalitica has the lowest entry with a free-forever plan (up to 100 orders per month), followed by wetracked.io at $49 per month with a 14-day trial. More important than the entry price is what is included and how the price grows: a €49 tool with profit analytics included can end up cheaper than a $49 tool with three add-ons.

Does Hyros have a free trial?

No, Hyros has no free trial; the tier pricing is public, while the account is activated through a call with their team. It advertises a money-back guarantee, but check its conditions in the contract before signing, together with the 30-day cancellation notice and the auto-renewal clause (as of 8 August 2026).

Why does the same tool cost different stores different amounts?

Because most tools tie the price to store size: Hyros to tracked revenue, Triple Whale to annual GMV, Northbeam to pageviews. A store with twice the sales therefore pays more for the same features. Tools metered on orders (wetracked.io, Enalitica) grow more predictably, because every plan's boundary is known in advance.

How much of my ad budget should tracking cost?

The rule of thumb says 1 to 3 percent of monthly ad spend. At €10,000 of spend that is €100 to €300 per month. If a tool costs more, the savings or extra profit it enables must clearly justify it, which rarely holds at smaller budgets.

Are the prices in this guide still current?

We verified every price on 8 August 2026 against official pricing pages and review sources. Vendors change prices and packages, some several times a year, so always check the vendor's live pricing page before deciding.
